Everything you need to know about how Shifu works, pricing, and what to expect.
A business operating system for solo, session-based practitioners: yoga teachers, coaches, trainers, tutors, therapists, and anyone who earns money one session at a time. It combines CRM, scheduling, a public booking page, reviews, and business analytics in one place, so you’re not stitching together five separate tools.
Solo practitioners running their own practice: no staff, no front desk, no multiple locations. If your business is you delivering sessions to clients, Shifu is built around that. It’s not staff-scheduling or multi-location booking software, and it never will be.
Free to start, no credit card required. The Free plan includes full CRM, scheduling, booking, your public booking page, reviews, and analytics, for up to 250 active clients. Pro removes the client cap and the "Powered by Shifu" mark from your booking page, and lowers the platform fee on card payments. Pro is $29/month or $299/year.
A small percentage taken only on card payments processed through Shifu at booking: 8% on Free, 4% on Pro Monthly, 2% on Pro Annual. If a client pays you in person or through your own payment link outside Shifu, there’s no fee.
Yes. Clients can pay online at the time of booking or choose to pay in person, whichever you and they prefer. Card payments settle to your own connected account. You keep 100% of the charge itself; the only cut Shifu takes is the platform fee above.
Every account gets a professional public booking page at shifuintel.com/yourname, built from your services, availability, bio, and reviews. Send clients one link instead of five.
Yes. Your profile is built from configurable blocks (hero, about, testimonials, gallery, booking, and more) that you can reorder and edit, so your page fits your practice without needing design or code.
Yes. The contact form on your public page is a toggle. Leave it on so prospective clients can reach you directly, or turn it off if you’d rather clients only book through your listed services.
Clients can leave a rating and a short quote after a session. Every review lands as pending until you approve it, so nothing goes live on your page without your say. Approved reviews can be promoted to a featured testimonial.
Beyond a list of upcoming bookings, you get the numbers that describe your business: revenue and sessions over time, retention and repeat-booking rate, your best-performing services, average attendance, and more, all built from sessions you’ve actually run.
Yes, you can bring in your existing clients rather than re-entering them one by one. We’re actively improving this import flow, so expect it to get smoother over time.
Your account data is isolated from every other practitioner on the platform and access is enforced at the database level, not just in the app. We don’t share your client list or business data with other tenants or third parties.
Not yet. Shifu is a mobile-responsive web app today, so it works well in a phone browser, and a native app is on our near-term roadmap.
Yes. There’s no contract or trial to opt out of, since every account starts on the Free plan. Upgrade to Pro when you outgrow the client cap or want the fee reduced, and downgrade or cancel whenever you want.
No, and it’s intentional. Shifu is built for solo practitioners. If your business has a front desk, multiple staff, or multiple locations, this isn’t the right tool.
